The Market Access and Business Digitalisation Services for Kosovo Companies (ACCESS) project has been presented in Vienna today at the governmental meeting of the Joint Economic Commission Austria-Kosovo. Representatives of the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and ECIKS reported on the beginning of implementation of the activities outlined by the project aiming to reduce poverty and exclusion of the poor in Kosovo.
A series of facilitating interventions that respond to market constraints, promote private sector development, competitiveness and digitalization are to be implemented. The intervention areas include the development of business support services in the field of digitalisation and export promotion activities. A number of Austrian partners, including the Technical University Graz, the Danube University Krems, and the Austrian Economic Chamber are contributing to the project.
ACCESS is financed by the ADC, co-financed by the Government of Kosovo, and implemented by ECIKS. Building on more than 15 years of development cooperation and a fruitful partnership, ADC is continuing to support sustainable development and reforms in Kosovo, including promotion of private sector development.
