The Government Committee for the Privatization of Kosovos Post and Telecom has authorized the opening of the tender for the sale of 75% shares of this enterprise.
The decision of the commission for the opening of the tender for the sale of PTK came 11 days later than the date specified as the final one in the planning agreement with the International Monetary Fund.
In accordance with this decision, the Ministry of Economic Development is required to open the tender procedures and set deadlines for the offers submission of the qualified companies.
“Part of the tender documents approved today by the Committee are the instructions to bidders, the purchase agreement draft and the future shareholders agreement draft,” was said in a statement of this committee.
On the basis of these documents approved by the GPC, pre-qualified companies are invited to make their analytical reviews and take part in the competition for the acquisition of 75% of the PTK shares.
