Kosovo’s most famous ski resort has not remained unnoticed, even by the prestigious British newspaper The Guardian. In an article published last week, The Guardian invited its readers to spend their winter holidays in Brezovica among other winter resorts in Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro.
“Brezovica is regarded as one of the best mountains in the Balkans. It even has a Facebook page with almost 30,000 fans,” writes The Guardian.
The Government of Kosovo has planned to privatize the Brezovica Ski Resort for several years now, aiming to improve its housing facilities, the snow tracks and the customer service in general. Brezovica has the potential to become one of the greatest winter resorts in Balkans, a status it proudly carried several decades ago.
