Montenegro abolished customs duties for goods with Kosovo origin

Podgorica, Sept. 27, 2005 – The Montenegrin government decided to abolish customs for goods from Kosovo, as of Sept. 22.

According to the statement of the government’s public relations bureau, this decision will contribute to the forming of a free trade zone in the region.

The abolishing of these customs is regulated by the amendments to the decree on procedures for goods and passengers at the border between Montenegro and Serbia, it was said in the statement.
