Prishtina, 7 March 2005 – Macedonian Prime Minister, Vlado Buckovski came last week to open the Trade and Economic Office in Kosova, which will serve to intensification of cooperation between the two countries.
Buckovski met with the Special Representative of the Secretary General (SRSG), Soren Jessen-Petersen and the Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj. His agenda also included a meeting with President Ibrahim Rugova, but the latter has refused to meet him.
During meetings with the hosts, Buckovski called for the process of delineation of the border between Kosova and Macedonia to be accelerated.
He also emphasized that his government will not make any compromise on this matter and asked for UNMIK to be their partner in solving it.
