Kosovo's skiing resort attracts Italian investors

Brezovica, Kosovo, 15 September 2007 – The Italian company LegaCoop FVG expressed the interest to buy Brezovica complex. The deputy president of the company LegaCoop FVG, Loris Asqunini, said that the company is a big group of shareholders in Italy and is very interested to buy and invest in the complex, as soon as it is tendered by the Kosovo Trust Agency (KTA).

“We came here for the first time to visit Brezovica and the region of Shterpce and see what this complex can offer,” said Asquini.

The Head of Pillar IV, Paul Acda, said that he expects Brezovica to be privatized before this year’s winter season since UNMIK got the green light from the Legal Office in New York. Acda stressed that in next KTA board meeting a decision is expected on when the complex should be tendered.
