Kosovo’s Delegation approves decentralization document

Prishtinë, Feb 13, 2006 – Kosovo’s Negotiating Team, chaired by the newly elected President Fatmir Sejdiu approved on Saturday the document on the reformation of the local-self administration, but did not appoint yet the members of the Kosovar delegation which will go to Vienna for decentralization talks with Belgrade.

All the members confirmed there is a full unity within the team, promising to work more in the acceleration of the processes in order the status to be settled as soon as possible.

President Sejdiu said following the meeting that the document that has been prepared by the Political Group will remain unchanged. “The Team decided to take part in Vienna meeting on February 20, and all the preparations for that have been made,” said Sejdiu.

Regarding the composition of the delegation that will go to Vienna, Sejdiu said that the decision on this issue is to be taken this week.
