At the meeting of the Committee for Economic Development, Infrastructure, Trade and Industry of the Kosovo Parliament, the Commission reviewed the 2012-2025 Mining Strategy of the Republic of Kosovo, presented by the deputy minister for Economic Development, Gani Koci.
After the deputy minister talked about the objectives they want to achieve with this strategy and its role in the economic development of the country, he announced that as stated in this strategy, the company “Trepca” will work under a special law. Mr. Koci said that the Mining Strategy 2012 – 2025 has 10 main objectives, for the realization of which 63 implementing measures are scheduled to be made.
Meanwhile, members of the Committee stated that the Mining Strategy is an indispensable document for our country. During the voting process, the document found support from the members of the Commission and after this, the document will be reviewed at the regular plenary meeting of the National Parliament, announced the office for media and public relations of the Assembly.
