The Post and Telecom of Kosovo will be on the market pretty soon. The Kosovo Government stated that the most profitable corporate sale in the country will occur within the next year, writes the daily newspaper „Koha Ditore“.

Revenues of about 300 million euros from the privatization of PTK have already been included in the 2012 draft budget. Although it was not specified in the draft that this amount is from the privatization of PTK, they are classified as one-time revenues.

A senior adviser to the Minister of Economic Development confirmed that the new agenda foresees that during 2012 the contract for the privatization of PTK will be signed.

It was further stated that the new agenda that provides all the steps and procedures to be followed in the privatization process of PTK has already been designed. This agenda is expected to be adopted in the Privatization Committee of PTK so that the process of privatization can begin.
