The news portal Telegrafi, citing government sources, has learned that the Republic of Kosovo has secured enough votes to become a member of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
After Kosovo’s membership in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB), it could soon become part of another important European financial institution, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), as the needed votes for this have been secured : “Kosovo has secured the votes to become a member of the EBRD’s and we are making efforts to convince the Executive Board of the bank to put the issue of Kosovo’s membership on the agenda”, said a source from the Kosovo Government.
