Kosovo police cracks down on organized crime, customs

Prishtina, KOSOVO – The Kosovar media reports that six customs officials and a businessman have been arrested by Kosovo Police Service (KPS) under suspiction for organized crime and other criminal offences.

“The arrested persons are suspected of having committed criminal offences of organized crime, bribery, misuse of post, exercise of the influence, collaboration and criminal affiliation,” said KPS spokesperson Veton Elshani, who did not exlude the possibility of additional arrests.
