Kosovo: Llamkos is privatized

Company “Mutafqi Dragon Group” from Turkey was declared the winner of the tender for the sale of state-owned Llamkos from Vushtrri during the sixth wave of privatizations. Privatisation Agency of Kosovo (PAK) completed the sale using the method of liquidation.

Five offers have competed for this enterprise whereas the Turkish company designated as L25, has offered 6.5 million euro for the purchase of Llamkos. PAK has offered for sale 19 state-owned enterprises and different forms of public ownerships during this round.

The sixth wave of privatization was preceded by the sale of other enterprises such as “Mushtishti” from Theranda, “Komuna” from Prizren and “IMB Mitrovica” among others. Privatizations aim to transfer these enterprises into efficient management as well as raise money for the national budget.
