Kosovo: British Petrol to sign a contract with Prishtina Airport

Prishtinë, Aug 19, 2006 – Lajm reports that Air BP (British Petroleum) will sign a one-year contract with Prishtina International Airport on kerosene supply before the existing contract expires.

Airport officials said that Airport requested a six-month contract, but Air BP insisted that the contract be one-year. Lajm also reports that the companies supplied by Air BP will have to pay 20 euro cents more per litre of kerosene compared to many airports in Europe.

Airport Spokesperson, Skender Bucolli, said that the contract will be signed before 19 September and that there is no risk that the Airport will run out of kerosene.
