Kosovo and Finland Chambers of Commerce sign cooperation agreement

With the aim to increase the business cooperation between Kosovo and Finland, the Chambers of Commerce of two countries have signed in Prishtina a cooperation agreement.

Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of Kosovo, Januz Kastrati welcomed the contribution of Finnish businesses for the economic development in Kosovo.

“The Government will provide institutional support for cooperation between local and international companies, through favorable investment policies, by creating the conditions for fair competition and reducing administrative procedures,” Kastrati said.

President of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Besim Beqaj said that this agreement represents the beginning of cooperation with the Scandinavian countries. He added that this agreement is good example of how Scandinavian countries show interest in economic cooperation with Kosovo.

Anne Hatanpaa, from the Finnish Chamber of Commerce said the focus of this agreement is to increase business cooperation between Finland and Kosovo.
