The first three segments of the Vërmicë-Merdare highway, which is being built by Bechtel & Enka are expected to be completed in late October.
Prime Minister Thaci stated that the construction of the highway will contribute to the economic development of Kosovo and that so far the government has spent 250 million euros for the first three sections of the Highway.
The Minister of Infrastructure, Fehmi Mujota said that if the construction continues at this pace, sections 1, 2 and 3 with a total length of 38 km will be completed and opened for traffic by the end of October.
