Construction work on the first 38 kilometers of the Merdare-Vërmicë highway has ended. The company in charge of the construction, Bechtel & Enka stated that the only thing left to do is the handover and acceptance by the Kosovo Government, which will be done on the 31st of October.
However, this part will not be passable for vehicles until November 12. “The work will be completed on October 31, including all signs and markings but an official inauguration ceremony is expected to be held on November 12, “said a spokeswoman for Bechtel & Enka.
In the statement was also stated that on Monday, October 31st, the works done so far will be inspected by the Minister of Infrastructure,Fehmi Mujota and his staff.
