Prishtina, Oct 18, 2004 – Samsung Corporation from South Korea is interested in buying one of the largest nickel processing plants in Europe, the SOE “Ferronikeli” from Gllogovc (Kosovo), Samsung representatives said during a visit in Prishtina last week.
Samsung representatives, KTA officials and the General Director of Ferronikeli requested during the meeting with the Prime Minister Rexhepi information on legislation, potential facilities for foreign investors and the state of natural resources in Kosova.
Samsung representatives also expressed their willingness to invest in the field of energy in Kosova.
Samsung is more known for producing of TV’s and mobile phones, but since its enlargement, its activity includes the field of energy, too.
