Kosovo Winery Institute inaugurated

Rahovec, 8 March 2007 – The Kosovo Winery Institute was inaugurated yeterday in the town of Rahovec, known for long winemaking tradition. Kosovo Prime Minister Agim Ceku, known businessmen and other public life figures were attending the event.

“It is a great honour to be able to participate in such an event. This contributes to Kosovo’s economic development and proves that the agricultural sector is one of the priorities and that furthermore, we are establishing concrete mechanisms to support it,” stated Prime Minister Ceku.

“The inauguration indicates that we have begun and will continue to build new capacities together. Rahovec has good wine and further work must be done to improve its quality,” stated Head of German Liaison Office Eugen Wolthart.
