Prishtinë, 21 Feb 2005 – Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Rural Development is trying to create a fund for development of agriculture. “We are optimistic that the government will endorse it and provide financial support,” the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Forestry and Rural Development told KosovaLive.
“Not only new jobs would be generated, but also food for the population of Kosova would be secured,” he said.
He said that they will do their best to support this very important sector of economy.
However the official complained that only 0.6% of Kosova’s budget has been allocated to the Ministry of Agriculture and 80% of that is used for paying of salaries of administration staff.
