Prishtina, 12 February 2007 – “Post and Telecom Kosovo (PTK) welcomes legal competition in mobile telephony and the managers assure the consumers that they are well prepared to face the liberalization market,” stated a press release issued by PTK. “Creating equal conditions competition is a necessary international standard that needs to strengthen the good of Kosovo’s economy and its citizens.”
PTK hopes legal competition will bring an end to activities of illegal operators across Kosovo. “PTK expects the Kosovo institutions to create an environment that enables correct and equal competition, which is one of the main points free market economy,” reads the press release.
