Prishtina, 11 january 2007 – The Kosovo Government and the Ministry of Transport and Post Telecommunication are discussing the possibility of constructing a part of the Merdar-Morine motorway with PTK surplus, according to Kosovo Prime Minister Agim Ceku in a statement following a meeting held with MTPT Minister Qemajl Ahmeti, reported Zeri.
Prime Minister Ceku informed the media that the motorway will be constructed according to a public-private partnership. Ceku added that out of the total budget of the ministry, consisting of €35.6m, some €24m will be used for capital investments in 24 road construction projects throughout Kosovo, reported Zeri.
