Prishtina, 21 June 2007 – The Kosovo Trust Agency, an agency managing the privatization process in Kosovo, has opened the bids for the 25th round of privatization. It was one of the most successful rounds. 38 SOEs (socially owned enterprises, mostly agricultural land, were sold for 35,8 million EUR.
This round of privatization has brought record amounts were for agricultural, with the highest amount of 10.1 million euro offered for the agricultural land in the village of Shkabaj. The highest number of bids was received for agricultural lands in the region of Gjilan.
