Prishtina, 3 July 2007 – Two customs points are opened for the export of the chrome from the north of Albania to the factory “Deva” in Gjakova (Kosovo). After the agreement reached between Kosovo Customs Service and the Government of Albania, the customs points in Qafe Prush and in Qafe Morina in Gjakova municipality are inaugurated and the first two trucks loaded with chrome have crossed the border.
The importance of this agreement is that it will serve the economic development of both, Albania and Kosovo. The export of rich and poor minerals will grow, in particular with the factory “Deva” in Gjakova now starting the production of chrome.
