Prishtina, 3 July 2007 – A section of Pristina-Ferizaj highway from Prishtina to Caglavica was inaugurated yesterday. Minister Qemal Ahmeti considers it of high importance for the Kosovo citizens. The Ministry of Transportation invested around €2 million to expand it.
“For this year, we are expanding the road up to the crossroad of Lipjan,” said Minister Ahmeti.
Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu, who was present in the inauguration, said that the construction of the road has created a good image for Kosovo. “This road proves that Kosovo is building up new ways of infrastructure”, he said. It is expcted that the road will be used by more than 80 thousand vehicles every day.
