Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, in cooperation with leaders of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, American Chamber of Commerce and the Kosovo Business Alliance, has signed a protocol for founding of the Kosovo National Council for Economic Development.
National Council for Economic Development will enable the stable economy environment, improving the private sector and suitable environment for international investors, said Prime Minister Hashim Thaci.
Agim Shahini, chairman of the Kosovo Business Alliance, said that the creation of this council will strengthen the efforts of the business community and government, to create better environment for investment and employment growth rate.
The founding of this council shows serious cooperation between the business community and state institutions, said Safet Gërxhaliu, chairman of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce.
Leke Musa, executive director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Pristina, said that this council will be a voice of business community in Kosovo.
