Kosovo: Ipko Net competes for second operator of mobile tel.

Prishtinë, June 05, 2006 – Officials of Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) said that the Slovenian Telecom that acquired 75% of the shares of Ipko Net, aims to apply for the second mobile telephony operator license in Kosovo. Arkan Ismajli from Ipko Net confirmed this statement.

TRA President Anton Berisha said that the Slovenian Telecom would invest around €20 million in Kosovo. After reviewing the documents and the sale of shares by Ipko Net, TRA will consider whether to issue a license to Ipko Net and Slovenian Telecom.
