Prishtina, Nov. 24, 2005 – Kosovo budget has collected 1 million euro revenues from licensing of oil companies, the Ministry of Trade and Industry told KosovaLive yesterday.
The issuing of license has started three months ago. Xhevdet Leci, the Head of the Oil Trade Regulatory Council said that so far 18 companies for importing of oil were licensed, 45 for fuel license, 58 for oil transport, 161 for retail sales, whereas 18 for storing of oil.
“Now it is easier to control importing and trading of oil,” he said.
The last deadline for obtaining license was September 7. Many companies still operate without license.
