The Kosovo Development Fund was formally established in Switzerland and promoted in the presence of over 20 ambassadors from different countries accredited in Switzerland, representatives of various Swiss cantons and representatives of Kosovo institutions.
This Foundation has three goals, scholarships and grants for students of all Kosovo communities, attracting foreign investments in Kosovo and promoting and supporting Kosovo culture and integration of Kosovo citizens in Switzerland.
The fund initiator, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Switzerland, Naim Malaj said that Kosovo’s Diaspora in Switzerland played an important role in all periods of time during the most important developments in Kosovo and that. Malaj expects the Kosovar Diaspora to contribute in the newly established fund.
