Prishtina, 28 December 2006 – The Kosovo Coordinator of Stability Pact in, Gazmend Qorraj, said that once the final is solved Kosovo would have a greater role in the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA). According to Qorraj, Kosovo is engaged in drafting necessary documents for its integration in European institutions.
“CEFTA will enter into force in May and by then we hope to have the final status resolved,” said Qorraj. “We consider the signing of CEFTA as very important for Kosovo, since now this mechanism will be a message to foreign investors.”
