Gjakovë, 18 May 2007 – The Kosovar agribusiness fair opened yesterday in Gjakova. This fair will gather local and international experts from different fields of agricultural business who will discuss the situation, perspective and development of the agribusiness sector, as well as the possibility of developing new sub-sectors in Kosovo.
The opening speech was made by Yvana Enzler from the Swiss Liaison Office, which is one of the supporters of this fair. In cooperation with the Danish Government, the Swiss Office will support a three-year project on developing the agricultural production in Kosovo. The project will be implemented in cooperation with the Kosovar Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development.
