Air companies pay as much taxes as kiosks

Prishtina, 15 April 2004 – Since year 2000, air companies and travel agencies have paid no more than € 100.000 taxes, „Koha Ditore“ reports.

According to the article, Airport Prishtina takes in over € 12 million a year from its services, while since 2000 it has paid less than € 100.000 taxes to the Kosovo Consolidated Budget.

It is those hundreds of thousands of people who cannot escape paying taxes that fill the Kosovo budget while major taxpayers, companies and travel agencies have paid no more than € 100.000 since 2000.
