“Adani Power Ltd.” one of the largest importers of Indian coal is one of the four international companies that are competing to build the 1,2 megawatt power plant in Kosovo.
The winner of the project will also have the rights for coal exploitation in Kosovo.
“Adani Power” along with “PT Adani Global” are among the four consortiums that are selected by the Kosovo government to bid for two coal-fired units of 560 megawatts and 678 megawatts, and for exploitation of coal for the use of plants” , said Ravi Sharma, senior official at “Adani Power”.
“The agreement is part of our plans to purchase property in India and abroad,” said Sharma.
