Around 400 international companies are participating in the international fair “EXPOKOS 2012”, thus making it the largest fair in the region. Participating in the 11th edition of this civil engineering, energy, technology, furniture and real estate fair are companies from Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Belgium, Italy, Holland, England , Turkey, Serbia and Bulgaria.
The fair which will remain open until May 19, also offers seminars, conferences and presentations by exhibitors for visitors.
The Kosovar Minister of Trade and Industry (MTI), Mimoza Kusari-Lila, stated that Kosovo, in addition to natural resources, has a young population: “Kosovo is now in its course of reforms, to make the business environment better, to make Kosovo’s economy stronger and to increase the welfare of its citizens. The aim of these reforms is to attract investments that will strengthen the economy but will also create sustainable employment in Kosovo. An incontestable truth for the reform process is that we must be honest and face the challenges we still have before us, “said Kusari-Lila.
Representatives of foreign delegations who are visiting the fair will also have meetings with senior state representatives of Kosovo.
