In order to simplify the customs procedure and according to analysis and recommendations of several organizations, including USAID/BEEP, the Kosovo Customs has decided to remove the requirement of several documents for import/export, starting from November 2011.
According to the statement of Kosovo Customs “this will affect positively the efficiency and transparence of the work of Kosovo Customs and will be very economic and efficient for all business entities involved in international trade”.
