Kosovo: capital investments in Prishtina Airport

Prishtina, 26 March 2007 – Pristina International Airport, with an annual turnover of some €20 million, has filed for a loan for capital investments at Raiffeisen Bank. According to Airport Spokesman Skender Bucolli, the requested loan is some €14 million.

“The loan was requested for certification projects, such as lights, runways, expropriation and several other capital projects,” stated Bucolli, adding that the airport is currently negotiating the issue of finances with several other institutions as well.

“We cannot provide any comments regarding specific cases. Raiffeisen Bank treats all client information including corporation clients as confidential,” stated bank officials.
