Prishtinë, May 17, 2006 – Energetic Corporation of Kosovo (KEK) and the Albanian Power Utility (KESH) signed on May 15th 2006 a Memorandum of Understanding and Co-operation, TVs and dailies in Kosovo report, based on KEK press release.
According to the press release, the purpose of this MOU is to formalize and enhance the existing level of cooperation between the two companies in a number of different areas such as system optimization in Capacity Balance Management and Joint Planning; import arrangements; Operating Reserve, Secondary Frequency Regulation & Emergency Support; transmission capacity between the systems; development of management capacity in KEK and KESH.
The Memorandum was signed by KEK Acting Managing Director, Mr. Sean Mc Goldrick, and KEK Deputy Managing Director, Mrs. Pranvera Dobruna – Kryeziu on one side and Mr. Andi Beli, KESH Managing Director on the other side.
It has been agreed that teams will be established no later than May 26th 2006 to start working on the specific fields mentioned above.
