High level delegation of Kosovo , including Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, Vice Prime Minister Behxhet Pacolli, Minister of Economy Besim Beqaj and the Minister of Trade and Industry Mimoza Kusari-Lila have presented Kosovo in front of representatives of Austrian economy and potential investors in Vienna on 24 and 25 October 2011.
The event “Meet Kosovo in Vienna”, organized by Vienna Economic Forum in cooperation with the Government of Kosovo and the Economic Initiative for Kosovo (ECIKS), has gathered over 200 interested parties, including representatives of Austrian companies and potential investors from Kosovo.
All representatives of the Government of Kosovo, including Ministers and heads of business-support, privatization and investment promotion agencies of Kosovo, have called for Austrian investments in Kosovo and have promised support. Prime Minister Thaci and the host Mr. Erhard Busek, the ex Vice-Chancellor of Austria, have both praised Kosovos development in the last years and the engagement of Austrian companies in Kosovo but have also asked for more investments and use of opportunities.
ECIKS representatives Kujtim Dobruna and Hamez Morina have also presented business and investment opportunities in Kosovo and the services offered to investors by IPAK / ECIKS in Vienna.
