The Board of the Kosovo Post and Telecom (PTK) has approved the investment project of setting up the fourth mobile telephony operator in Albania. This would be the first larger investment of a Kosovar company abroad.
Kosovo Telecom, a publicly owned company, is the leading telecommunication provider in Kosovo and says it has over 300 million EUR of cash from the earnings of last few years.
The Government of Kosovo, including its prime Minister and the Minister of Finance have already supported the PTK decision to invest in Albania’s fourth mobile operator.
