The project, which was financed by USAID, focused on performing a functional analysis of Kosovo Business Registration Agency (KBRA) and offering recommendations to enable KBRA to introduce time and cost-efficient services to the business community.

The services provided include:

  • Developing the methodology and action plan
  • Analyzing the institutional setup, organization and involved working procedures
  • Analyzing the international best practices in service provision of Business Registration Agencies
  • Analyzing the workload of MBC staff and their service provision statistics/capabilities
  • Implementing personal interviews and surveys with KBRA and MCB staff, start-ups, exiting companies, partner institutions and stakeholders (over 200)
  • Developing a list of recommendations for improving the work of KBRA and MCBs and the intra-organizational communication
  • Developing the new service portfolio
  • Preparation of final report and presentation of recommendations
