Prishtina, Nov 5, 2004 – In an interview with Kosovar News Agency “KosovaLive”, the Chief of UNMIK Soren Jessen-Petersen said he hopes that the political parties will reach a coalition agreement within two weeks.
“I hope I will go on November 29 session of the UN Security Council to deliver my report along with the new PM. For this reason I hope that the coalition agreement will not last longer,” he said.
He said that this timeframe is sufficient, given that important issues, such as fulfillment of standards, reforms and the power handover, lie ahead of Kosovo.
