The Privatisation Agency of Kosovo has signed an agreement to sell the steel producer “Llamkos” to the English company CORESTEEL for 6.5 million Euros.
In the announcement, the PAK stated: “The buyer, according to the business plan presented, promised to employ the 437 existing workers, to continue with the same business activity for at least the next 5 years and not remove any equipment from the premises”.
CORESTEEL has also committed to invest a substantial amount of capital in the company.
The future investments promised by the buyer are of great importance to the economic development of Kosovo, in particular for the Municipality of Vushtrri, which will have direct benefits from this investment.
