Prishtinë, Jan 24, 2006 – After the end of the negotiations with British Telecom, it is likely that PTK might start negotiations with another British company namely Cable and Wireless, Kosovar daily Lajm reports. Officials of Cable and Wireless did not deny such possibility.
“I can not say anything,” Alice MacAndrew, representative of this company told Lajm. “First we should have some internal consultations and then make an official decision.”
According to MacAndrew, their company does not have official information on the failure of the PTK-BT strategic alliance.
Meanwhile, Ilir Salihu, Deputy Director of POEs at KTA told Lajm that the PTK Board would meet on Monday to decide on this issue. He made no comment on whether Cable and Wireless is a candidate for the strategic alliance.
