Forum Alpbach: Promoting Investments in Kosovo

In a joint event with potential investors in Forum Alpbach, organized by the Vienna Office of Investment Promotion Agency of Kosovo (IPAK) and the Ministry of Economy and Finances of the Republic of Kosovo (MEF), representatives of Kosovo have presented investment opportunities in the country and have promised support to potential investors. CEOs and other representatives of potential investors have attended the event.

The Kosovar Minister of Economy and Finances, Ahmet Shala has invited foreign companies to use business and investment opportunities in Kosovo. In addition, Mr. Shala has also presented concrete investment opportunities in the area of public-private partnerships and within the privatization process of large public companies in Kosovo.

Mr. Erhard Busek, ex-Deputy Prime Minister of Austria and Kujtim Dobruna, Head of IPAK Vienna have also addressed the meeting.

The best argument for investing in Kosovo is the list of companies who have already invested there and are generating profit, said Kujtim Dobruna. He invited potential investors from the German-speaking region to use the services provided by IPAK Vienna.

The office of IPAK in Vienna is managed by the Economic Initiative for Kosovo (ECIKS). Through this office, Kosovo offers to potential investors in the German-speaking region more direct and professional services than any other country in the region.
